Event Details
The Epic Motion Editors Contest, sponsored by Other World Computing and Red Giant Software, is limited to 12 editors. Each editor will be given 5-6 hours of footage from one wedding that we filmed and will have approximately 6hrs to edit a 3-5 minute video. Each member from the Epic Motion team will have a vote and each editor will have a vote for the best video (the editors will not be able to vote for their own video). Each editors is required to edit his/her own machine and are only able to edit on Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere (Macs only).
The finished product will be showcased on our website for the viewers choice portion of the competition. Contestants will be able to use the finished video for demo purposes with prior approval, and there will be a bug included in all footage with our company logo. This is solely to protect our clients, whose footage we are using in the contest.
The fee includes a t-shirt, lunch, and critique of your edit from the Epic Motion crew as well as a chance to win $1500 in prizes.
